Few Australian bands break the strings and make it out into the rest of the world, but the Sydney based quartet The Jezabels have done just that. Appearing at Breakout in May to a boisterous crowd Halley Mary (lead vocals) showed why interest in The Jezabels is growing. Two days later on Breakout's first road trip to The Great Escape Festival in Brighton they appeared again in front of a packed crowd at Breakout's four band showcase at the Queens Hotel. Music Week Magazine held the front page for 24 hours waiting for photographs of the event. Currently The Jezabels are putting the finishing touches to their debut album Prisoner due to release 16th September 2011.
